How my journey began

Hi, I’m Kristina Lampshire! I have been working in social media management for the past 13 years. I started in my hometown of Las Vegas, NV in 2011, working at a prominent magazine as an eager intern. Fast forward to my first client in 2014 — the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas, the Golden Steer Steakhouse. I was in school and was mostly self-taught! I was burning the midnight oil and had two bartending jobs but really wanted to expand my knowledge on social media. I really flourished on social media for my personal use, but was enamored with the possibilities on how it could really help a business. I continued with Golden Steer and then moved closer to my siblings in Denver in 2016, where I kept them as a remote client.

I continued working in hospitality in restaurants as a bartender (gotta pay the rent!) in the beginning and then went on to continue with social media as a Social Media Manager for national brands Oskar Blues Fooderies and then The Kitchen Restaurant Group, a group with great restaurants in Denver & Boulder like The Kitchen and Next Door American Eatery. Learning so much from The Kitchen as their Social Media and PR Manager, I made the decision to branch off on my own and take that BIG leap of faith to start my own business — a dream I had been pondering for over three years. I started Amuse Social LLC in August of 2019 and it has been a whirlwind! I am proud to be the Social Media Manager for a family-based Colorado Senior Living company Ascent Living Communities where I update families on their loved ones on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Definitely, an amazing growing and learning experience where I push myself more every day to be better than yesterday. I would love to work with you!
